Hello! This is Kristin Reese, writing once again to invite you to participate in the creation, the realization of World Peace & Harmony. As you are no longer running the Wildest Dreams series, it seems that a Harpo Hook-Up is in order to get billboards up on every major highway in our country that say:

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!

It has been one year since we first submitted this Wild Dream to you – one in which we have grown as individuals in leaps and bounds. Thank You! We have not given up on the possibilities that are all around us, the Dream of Peace in our hearts has simply matured and expanded as we explore the unlimited possibilities.

We are asking for your assistance to bring the conscious stimulation of Peace to our nation. We have more than enough fear and war based stimulation. Let’s balance the scales together and inspire humanity to make new choices!! The time for Peace is NOW….World Peace will never be achieved by just one person, when we get there it will be together. There is no other way for World Peace to be experienced but for together. We are all part of the same Humanity.

Somehow this message has circulated the world and people from all ages and walks of life have signed our guest book in support. They understand how important it is to get this message out there in a big way.

I believe that World Peace can be achieved, but the only way to achieve it is to get every single person in the world to agree that - "yes, world peace and harmony begins with one person...you!" If every single person in the whole wide world believe in this and agree, we will finally achieve world peace. The problem is that people don't understand that they alone can make a difference! They don't understand that it's so simple! They sit there waiting for something big to happen without them putting any effort into this! We continue to share our enthusiasm with others for the potential of this simple message being communicated to the masses. We have received a huge response from people who want to see these billboards all over our country. Oprah, there is a need for this message to reach the masses in present time. We all need positive reminders of our natural abilities to affect the world we live in. What better place to begin than encouraging peaceful reflection within the masses!

As a collective we understand the urgency of this WILD DREAM and have continued to move forward to make it a reality. The University of Light & Creativity is now an official not-for-profit organization, capable of taking contributions for our main focus, Billboards for Peace. We are currently working on getting these billboards up in the Albuquerque area to begin with. Our optimism continues to grow as we envision you responding to our WILD DREAM.

Our official ‘coming out’ will take place on April 9-10 at the World Wellness Weekend here in Albuquerque, where Dr. Deepak Chopra will be the keynote speaker. We are embracing the synchronicity at play, as he will be speaking about his newest book Peace is the Way. The University of Light & Creativity will be hosting 2 lecture spots during this weekend where we will be discussing Tools for Peace and our Billboards for Peace program.

Oprah, we would LOVE to play and co-create this dream with you and your staff! We continue to be open to the possibilities, allowing our certainty and trust to show us the path of grace and ease, gentleness and joy. We know that the time for Peace is now. Oprah let it begin with us!

The small collective that has been energizing this mission is moving ahead, inspired by the responses of others for the dream we all hold in our hearts of a world living in Harmony where all can experience living in Love and where all can remember that we can make a difference. There are many from all over our country and the world who have responded, many who feel and understand what wonderful reminders these billboards would be. I would like to share a few of these responses from our guest book:

I agree with everyone who supports this dream. This can also come true if we love others as much as we love ourselves.Yes, it has to start with an individual then it will automatically flow to the others.

Dear Oprah, when I drive down the highways and see all the billboards, I imagine what it would be like to see one with this message of peace. How powerful to see these words, to see them often, even everyday. This reminder of Peace, prompting thoughts, conversations, hopes and wishes of Peace. So much, that is not about peace is bombarded into the minds of the masses constantly, how is this affecting mass consciousness??? We really NEED messages of Peace, reminders, so we can constantly ask ourselves, how do we bring Peace in the world? How do we BE Peace? I can only see great things from these billboards, I believe they will be a strong springboard towards actualization Peace, within ourselves and throughout our world. I think it is time for the citizens of the USA and of Earth begin to speak past the politicians to create peace and harmony on the planet. Harmony will begin when we all as individuals believe and trust. Love then is an automatic response. Who better to bring this to the nation but our own Aquarian thinker, Oprah!

It's all about knowing that we have a choice and to educate ourselves and others about a different way to live. Then we can make conscious choices to live differently and teach others to BE this way and to choose differently.

I am so joyous to hear of this amazing endeavor. The manner and approach has great Integrity and I so resonate about "Being Peace" without the protest for peace which is self-defeating. “In a world filled with chaos, wars and pain
What does world peace offer as gain?
Is it true? Is it possible? Then when does it start?
World Peace & Harmony begins you say in my heart?”

Peace comes from within each living soul
It is alive in us all and has always been our goal
To see, to feel the love from within
Is to express Peace right NOW – it’s the place to begin!

Now is the time to lay down our arms
All of them! Now! We need no longer feel harm
Let us love our neighbors, friends and family
Let your light and love shine! I can feel it – do you see?

Our love, well it ripples much farther than we know
Reaching across our cultures, religions, and borders – We grow!

HELLO Oprah & Team!
This afternoon I am writing to share a story that reflects HOW 'WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!'...As you probably know by now, this is a WILD DREAM of mine - to see billboards posted on every major highway in our country that carry this simple and powerful message.

Last week, my husband and I were visited by friends from South Carolina who came to New Mexico with their children. Their oldest, only 2 1/2 years old. Their youngest only a few months old. Already they are teaching their oldest child (Mikayla) to make conscious decisions that are loving and nurturing. THIS is a reflection of PEACE!

As parents they are conscientious to demonstrate Peace within themselves and that is HOW they are teaching Peace to their children. We could all do this in our lives! Peace can be taught! Truly, Peace begins within each of us and has the power to ripple so much farther than we know.
What if...we each made 1 peaceful decision a day? It is a starting point for us to make 2 peaceful decisions tomorrow...and maybe even 3 the next day. If we all allowed ourselves to do so, pretty soon we would be LIVING PEACE ALL THE TIME! This simple message has the potential of inspiring these decisions within people!

I know that the Dream of Peace is alive within the hearts of many...I see these billboards as an opportunity to reach and inspire those who are not thinking of or demonstrating peace right now.

Oprah, will you assist to me make this WILD DREAM come true? I want so much to touch the masses with this HUGE Ripple of Peace!!

Renewed Inspiration

Dear Oprah,

World Peace and Harmony Begin with One Person…YOU! Which means ME! Today as I read the new entries in our guest book, I was once again inspired. The past few weeks have brought up many personal challenges…the usual financial, family, job, creating balance, living my dreams!….those everyday matters that sometimes overwhelm us. I realized that my focus had dwindled, that there was a part of me that felt discouraged and impatient. Am I any different that most of mass consciousness? I don’t think so. I am a part of creating and energizing this dream…billboards across our highways, reminders of who we are and what we can accomplish individually and collectively. And these billboards are part of an even bigger dream….World Peace and Harmony among all peoples living in a world free of fear and limitation. Again, am I any different from the rest of mass consciousness? I don’t think so. I teach tools, I consciously energize my dreams and, yet there I was, in a slump that just sort of snuck up on me. And what assisted me to pull out of this and refocus? Reminders. Seeing the billboards in my mind’s eye and remembering that others hold the same dreams as I. I was also reminded again of the personal significance of this message. Peace does begin within me, and it my responsibility to be the hands and feet of my dreams.

I realize the task at hand is huge, expensive and entirely possible. You have been acknowledged as one who has the ability to inspire and create this dream and lay the foundation for an even bigger world-encompassing awareness. I open my heart to all possibilities and am grateful for the inspiration this dream has personally provided me. It is my renewed intention to make my dream a reality. I hope you will join us in our journey to personal fulfillment and World Peace.

How can Billboards for World Peace and Harmony help create peace?

Dear Oprah,

What is peace? Where does the desire to create peace come from? How can Billboards for World Peace and Harmony help create peace?

Peace is a shared feeling that all hold within their hearts, whether they know it or not. As we enter this world as a child, we bring gentleness, love, joy, harmony and a peaceful existence with all with us. This is the innocence of creation. A child is born with the innate understanding that it will demonstrate all of these traits with its smile, angelic expression, beautiful eyes and unconditional love.

What happens along the way to this child-- the loving child of four who enters pre-school and generally loves its playmates whether they are black, white, red or yellow, Hispanic, European, Indian, Islamic or African?

At some point in the education of this child, however, it is introduced to rules, regulations, authority and school, where it learns reading, writing, math and especially history. History is a tool that can and does teach the child that wars have existed throughout time, and that there are good and bad guys in this world. Movies, cartoons, video games, books and television shows also reinforce war, violence and killing as a reality that humans live with.

How do we then, as adults in this world, reconnect with peace and love that we brought in as a baby, before we changed? We reconnect when we, as adults, realize that creating love, joy, peace and harmony are our God given gifts. Just because we grew up didn’t change this. We can remember that we are one with each other, that everyone is connected as part of the human race, that as one hurts, we actually all hurt. Do humans really desire to live with war and fear? Ask the mother in Africa or Iraq if they would like to be subjected daily to death, bombs and destruction, or if they would rather live in a peaceful environment, being able to walk safely outside and allow their children to play without fear of stepping on a landmine or being killed. Isn’t the dream of peace and harmony the same worldwide?

Thousands of billboards on our major highways proclaiming, “World Peace and Harmony Begins With One Person…You” will stimulate the remembrance that we, as a human race, truly do desire to live peacefully with one another. So many already understand this. These billboards will contribute to the process of the awakening within humanity the need to reconnect to the peace and harmony within ourselves that we were born with. The time is NOW for this to happen. The time is NOW for these billboards to happen.

We're in the process of making bumper stickers and t-shirts with this phrase as well...one more avenue to continue to spread the message!!

As part of a small collective, we continue to send this Ripple of Peace out everyday, inviting others to join us on this journey. We are many, yet when we all stand together in the Dream of Peace we are one HUGE Voice that has the power to inspire the masses with pure positivity!
I know that within each of us lies magnificence that is simply waiting to be expressed and sometimes we all need reminders that we are capable of expressing our dreams…

Recently, I came across an Oprah quote:

Oprah, I am painting my canvas along with MANY others and our canvas is filled with PEACE! Our canvas is filled with pictures of every person walking in this world LIVING their potential. Dear Oprah & Team
Hello! As I sit this afternoon to write, I feel drawn to not only sharing my excitement to see, to feel billboards posted on every major highway in our country that say:

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!

~ but also share more of my personal reflections on this project.

I know that this WILD DREAM is HUGE and has the potential to be a technical nightmare. I believe that the Billboards for Peace project has the potential to draw support from corporate sponsors and private philanthropists as it gains momentum. These initial billboards are just the beginning!

I also know that this WILD DREAM is very much 'out of the box'...You see, World Peace & Harmony do not fit in a box and this dream has to start somewhere, so let it be with us!
My intention, and that of our collective is pure, to positively affect humanity and to inspire a foundation for graceful change as we, as a Whole Humanity, evolve together.

We are currently considering the creation of a second web site, dedicated solely to this World Peace Public Awareness Program. It is of great importance, not only for myself, but also for our collective as a whole, that we are maintaining our personal integrity. That being said, we have had almost 500 people come sign our guestbook, yet no products have been sold through our web site. This is not the purpose in gaining people’s support or attention. I feel that this is not about 'personal successes', but truly about the power this simple message has to inspire the masses to heal. Then we are ALL successful, fulfilled and PEACEFUL!

Thank You Oprah for opening the doors of possibility...I continue to believe in our potential!

Hello! I AM writing this evening to share the JOY in my heart as I reflect on the potential of having billboards posted on every major highway in our country that say:

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!!

Myself, my husband and our small collective of 12 are working everyday to communicate this message outward through the Internet, personal conversations and in our meditations. We continue to energize you Oprah and your staff members that are potentially working on co-creating this WILD DREAM! We continue to energize your experience of JOY on this journey.

The purpose of these billboards going up all across our country are not about pointing fingers or challenging HOW or WHY we got here (the state of our world today). This is not about who is to blame for anything. The purpose is to remind humanity that we have the ability to have a positive impact on our world as a whole, no matter who we are, first beginning within our own lives. THIS IS ABOUT UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & COMPASSION FOR OURSELVES AND HUMANITY!

I KNOW that this is a HUGE task with immense technical undertaking as well as a enormous financial investment. We are doing our research, looking at the bigger picture unfolding with this project and investigating the potential of a not-for-profit corporation that could be established to receive potential funding in the future for this project from such sources as: Corporate Sponsors, Private Philanthropists and possibly the Ad Council. The initial billboards are just the beginning.

WE WANT TO ASSIST THIS DREAM TO BECOME A REALITY!…Not only are we willing to be the hands and feet, working with your staff to map out a cohesive plan of action. We also have the ability to teach Peace through private counsel, seminars and workshops…We have the ability to teach people HOW World Peace and Harmony can truly begin with them!

A Letter to Oprah From Dory

Dear Oprah,
Now is the time to embrace new ideas! Many disasters have happened on the planet (natural and otherwise) to cause and energy shift. Many people are ‘awakening; and opening to new ideas. They are searching and seeking for answers and seem powerless to make changes. They do not realize the power of thought ~ that thoughts are things! (Where your thoughts go, your energy flows) This is a reason to embrace Kristin’s dream of having billboards posted on every major highway that say:

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!

– To put the thought of peace out there, that all starts with one person.

Here are two stories that have inspired me; one of the goodness of people, the second of the power of thought:

The Blizzard of ’77 (Snowius Deburius)
Where I live, winter means snow, so you live with it. That year was the worst winter month is 107 years – over 14ft of snow, freezing temperatures, wind chill of –50 below zero, 70 mph winds and 47 days of consecutive snowfall. It was the first time a major snowfall was declared a disaster. It closed down a whole city from January 28 – February 22! People were stranded, cold and afraid – It was the worst of times but the best of times. This ‘disaster’ caused ordinary people to do extraordinary things. All differences were set aside; neighbors were helping each other. There are untold stories of courage and kindness. What was considered a disaster, brought many together for a common goal, to help one another. It proved that people are basically good. That disaster created many memories and to this day, 28 years later, people celebrate the Blizzard Ball, remembering and embellishing their blizzard storied…and it all starts with ‘Where were you in the Blizzard of ’77?’

Our planet, our brothers and sister suffered and even worse natural disaster with the Tsunami. The whole world has shifted its purpose from war and disaster to helping their fellow man. At this moment in time it would be appropriate to have billboard reminders of peace. History keeps repeating itself with war fought, lives lost, destruction, greed and power. Peace is the answer – uniting the world. Look at what the Internet has done. It’s time to tear down walls and old belief systems and build bridges that unite in peace, love and harmony to honor each other. We all came from the same source, ‘the spark in God’s hand’. We are all brothers and sisters made in God’s image. Would we be so willing to have wars, knowing we were harming someone made in God’s image?

Thoughts Are Things
This is a story about an Irish Catholic frugal, a shopkeeper’s son, who decides to become a priest at age 27. He entered the priesthood at the height of the depression when families could not feed their children. Children were hungry on the streets, homeless, cold and orphans.

Father Baker’s first task was to build and orphanage for these children and he did. The orphanage was built, but now he had to find a cost effective way to heat it. He was sent on a trip to Italy and a priest there related a story to him about our Lady of Victory (Mother Mary). So Father Baker’s intention was to pray to Our Lady in earnest and one night he had a dream. He saw Our Lady standing in front of the orphanage pointing to a spot in the ground, telling him to dig there. He told the Bishop of his dream and of his desire to build a natural gas well. The Bishop agreed and so they hired a gas driller who dug thousands of feet.

Now people are beginning to refer to this well as Baker’s Folly and they are questioning him. The Bishop was ready to tell Father Baker that they are running out of money for this idea and to wait for another dream. It was the very next day that they drillers struck a vein of natural gas so large that it not only supplied enough fuel for the orphanage, but for the whole city!

In gratitude, Father Baker and people in the city built a Basilica to Our Lady of Victory, one that looks like a smaller version of the Vatican. Father Baker was so determined to have it built and have it paid for that he collected donations from everywhere he could; and the people were so grateful to him that they made a statue of him in front of the building.

When the Basilica was dedicated in 1939 after years of building, the people unveiled the statue of Father Baker, much to his surprise. Just as Father Baker surprised the people upon telling them that he had raised over 3 million dollars to pay for the cost of the Basilica. He believed it could be done.

Father Baker was a man of small stature with big and powerful thoughts. He did many other ‘impossible’ feats and the Catholic Church wants to make him a Saint and people from all over the world continue to visit the Basilica.

Our history books give many other stories and your life journey Oprah, is one of them. You might just have some of your favorite stories too!

So, my friend Kristin’s concept of billboards and announcing the awareness of Peace, putting the word out subtly yet powerfully in full view shall change humanities thinking from a negative to a positive. Let’s listen to our hearts! Humanity is aware that changes need to be made, as the old system doesn’t work anymore. We can change from apathy to belief in love!

Oprah, you have the power of one. The billboard blast would change this. It might not create waves at first, but ripples are good; ripples that will extend far and wide. Those persons that resonate with the concept will awake to the change. When you speak, others listen. If you can just imagine, 100 people embracing the idea of peace and passing it along. What a wonderful place this will be to live in peace, love and harmony! The darkness in the world would become light; the fear would become unconditional love. This has nothing to do with religion or politics – it is just an idea whose time as come!

Someone wrote this poem that I think is appropriate:

These things I shall be
A loftier race
Than e’er the world hath
Known shall rise
With flame of freedom in their souls
And light of knowledge in their eyes
Nation with nation, land with land
Unarmed shall live as comrades free
In every heart and brain shall throb
The pulse of one fraternity –

Billboards for Peace - Darkness to Light

Darkness is not lack of light; it is light that has become so dense that it no longer remembers that it is light. When I "see the creation" of the Billboards on main highways that say, "World Peace and Harmony Begins With One Person You," there they are-- points of light, reflecting their remembrance into the darkness. Considering how much road rage exists with longer, more congested commutes, especially around the main, large cities of the United States, these billboards can be instrumental in piercing their light through some of this darkness created on our major highways by people who take their everyday frustrations with them into the driver's seat. Can you hear them now? "Look Martha, another one of those dang Oprah
billboards about peace and harmony!" Each billboard becomes a reminder that we are traveling together and are capable of creating peace and harmony on this journey. They are reminders that there is work for each to do.

My wildest dream is to have myself and the rest of our collective of twelve in Chicago for the taping of the show announcing the billboards. I would love to be there to see our dreams of peace broadcast to the world. Forever, it seems, living in a peaceful world has been my biggest dream vision, from the time that I was a very young girl. I truly don't remember any other day-dream or night-dream that has occupied more of my time. To have lived my childhood and then adulthood with another reality-- of living alongside war and fear until now, has not deterred this dream of peaceful coexistence. The time is NOW for Peace and World Harmony to be created. Peace already exists, just as the light in the darkness already exists. We only need to remember its dream within each of us.

I was very moved after watching the Oprah show last week where producers and members of the “behind the scenes” staff told their stories. What a demonstration of WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!!

Week after week, millions watch as Oprah surprises, praises and acknowledges her guests, her audience and her staff. Her staff…YOU!! Seamless events are created by YOU!!! It is easy to take for granted what really goes into each show. Truly you ALL are the consummate event planners! But what strikes me most is the level of trust and appreciation that exists among your staff, the level of commitment and the personal joy that everyone takes in doing their job.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all people could express their talents and experience the joy of harmonious co-creation!

I realized that what we ask, billboards across America that say WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!!! is a different task, even a different focus. I began to see the technical immensity of our dream. And truly, if there is one team that can pull this off…it is Harpo Productions!

These billboards have the potential to touch so many…to create personal reflection….to ultimately empower and bring together people from around the world. We are at such an important intersection as a whole humanity. We have the ability to make new choices that are based in Unconditional Love and Harmony. That Love and trust begins within each. That is the essence of what is behind these billboards and I know with great certainty that YOU can pull this off as no other team can. For I believe you understand in your hearts and in a very personal way what the joy of assisting and inspiring others can bring.

After watching the show, I realized I have another wildest dream…to work hand in hand with Harpo Productions to create this dream…the dream of World Peace and Harmony, of harmonious co-creation. My whole life I have been inspired by this experience and dream. Daily I meditate, send out the message and energize this dream. And now it is here... and an incredible team of talented, dedicated, inspired, and loving individuals have the ability to make it happen…YOU!....the grandest event yet!!

Dear Oprah/Staff, I am adding to the submission by Kristin Reese for Billboards that say,

Oprah I have been dreaming about you and your staff, I have seen you and communicated with you in my meditations. I have seen and felt the Joy of Love surfacing Globally as these billboards manifest in the physical. I have seen TV Commercials with people of all different races/nationalities/beliefs, the statement ("WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON ...YOU!") is spoken in many different languages and each person responds “And ME!” ….

I have seen the same occurring with radio ads. It is a wonderful feeling to know this is all possible, I see the billboards expanding into a full blown public awareness program, TV & Radio running ads as public service announcements.

I see many peacemakers (Jimmy Carter, Nelson Mandela, Jesse Jackson, Deepak Chopra, The Clintons, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, The Dalai Lama, Kofi Annon, The Spirit of MLK Jr., and Mattie Stepanek) energizing this wonderful Opportunity. I see many high profile media moguls and entertainers supporting this effort. I see many philanthropists donating their resources in support of World Peace becoming a reality.

I have visited many websites pertaining to peace and read many quotes about peace. I have read quotes by some leaders who have engaged in conflict yet when they allowed their hearts to speak, the wisdom was profound. My point is all of humanity has the ability and desire somewhere within them to live in peace and harmony!

Oprah you know you have intended to do great things, this is a great and wonderful expression of who you truly are. This is an opportunity to use the wonderful resources that you have co-created to open the door and turn the light on for humanity.

This public awareness program is all about encouraging personal reflection, when we look inside of ourselves we discover, the beautiful beings that we really are. We begin the process of healing, loving and nurturing ourselves. This then empowers healing, loving and nurturing each other. Oprah I AM energizing this dream in every moment, in every thought.

Co-Creating World Peace With Oprah-Submission #1MJR

Dear Oprah/Team, I am writing today in reference to a submission by my wife Kristin Reese... here is the opening to her original submission from November 30th 2004 "My name is Kristin...I have a dream and it is a BIG one, a dream that I KNOW is possible. I dream everyday of how we can all live in peace on this planet together. My dream (one of many) is to post billboards on every major highway in the US that say,

"WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!"

You will notice that she made note that this dream is one of many; in essence Kristin is part of a small collective of people that have dedicated themselves to encouraging positive changes in the world. All of them including Kristin are teachers & counselors who teach & inspire people to love & nurture themselves, this is the core of empowering individuals to create positive change, It is our ultimate Intention. Within this small collective, some of us have been dedicated as long as 8 1/2 years teaching & inspiring, co-creating opportunities to reach the general public, most are ordained ministers, although we are not connected to any particular religion or dogma, we are dedicated to assisting humanity, honoring the divinity & loving each unconditionally! Our small collective has created programs & classes, specific methods of teaching & inspiring.

We have 3 unpublished authors, 2 that have written wonderful children's books about unconditional love.
Kristin has completed her first book "Melody's Song"..."Melody's journey is the tale of an everyday young, average, American woman who finds healing, inspiration and many new opportunities to grow in everyday circumstances...just like so many of us in the world...she wonders and questions too. Yes, this tale is a fictional story, however the tools that are shared are just the way I learned them. The tools themselves are universal and applicable to anyone in any circumstance."
Kristin has 2 more books in progress. So you see there are many other dreams that Kristin could have ask to be fulfilled. Yet she choose to ask for something bigger, something that wasn't just about her, her projects or the personal projects of any one person in our small collective. She asked for billboards that have the ability to encourage humanity to reflect on their own journey of peace. This alone demonstrates why Kristin deserves to have her dream realized. Great figures throughout time such as Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, Mattie Stepanek, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Jimmy Carter just to name a few, and each have reached inside of us to stimulate our natural urgings to live in harmony. These figures are still inspiring us today.

Within the heart of each of us lies a dream that is connected to everyone else in our world. For many this dream has been forgotten. It has been pushed out of our conscious mind, swept under the rug and left for someone else to deal with. The time has come for us to remember what we have tried so diligently to forget. The dreams within our hearts can no longer afford our silence or our denial of them.

Our imaginings of a peaceful world have always encouraged us to expand our perceptions and think outside of the box. When we look outside of the box, the possibilities can then show us that the path is clear and the answers are all around us.

Oprah, I know that this WILD DREAM is very much 'out of the box'. I also understand that enough of us have to get out of the box to really inspire humanity and 'get their attention'. World Peace does not have to be an allusive concept any longer.

It is my hope that you will join me on this journey of exploring the concept of Peace and how we can work together to make it our reality...

Dear Oprah & Team!

My wildest dream is to see billboards across America (and the world) that say: WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!!

Every day I read the new entries in the guest book and the blog entries from Kristin and I am inspired. Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr. and the universal message he sent forth brings tears to my eyes. Humanity, everyday people, just need to be reminded…to remember. We have the ability to make new choices. We have the ability to change the world, one person at a time, one community at time, one nation at a time. For so long we have struggled as a whole humanity to embrace the simple truth that we truly are one family. We have allowed our leaders to take responsibility, to become enmeshed in greed and power. We have played the game of separation, taking our stances and sides or retreating to apathy. In the midst of this have been those such as yourself, who have followed their hearts, reached out and used their influence to touch many. There is synchronicity in Deepak’s new book coming out! Another comes forward to energize and support. I see many others coming forward, returning to a limelight of influence and encouragement. I see the potential for a world movement where all are working together, sharing resources and changing our world. Never before have I felt such certainty of the possibilities. There is an openness and yearning that is ready to express itself…PEACE...Peace within and peace with ALL! The time is NOW.

These billboards will go up with ease, Oprah. Many towns, businesses, organizations and individuals across our land will donate and contribute to this vision. Across the world, communities will do the same. These billboards have the potential to bring the peoples of our world together. This is not about politics. It is about giving people hope, reminding them and empowering them and providing a roadmap for real change, for we know this change occurs only in the heart of each.

A seventy year-old woman signed our guest book. Her words: “I certainly agree that it takes one, then two, etc, to work for harmony and peace, without dreaded violence, and if that goal was reached, what a different world it would be! Oprah, with people like you working for this, probably not in my lifetime, as I am in my 70's, but in my great grandchildren’s' lifetime, how remarkable!” I want to say to her, “Your dream doesn’t have to wait any longer. It is NOW. Peace begins NOW!”

My heart tells me you are going to support this wildest dream, which is the dream of many. You have the influence and the ability to bring many together. And there a many who are waiting to assist and experience the dreams of their hearts.

Let us co-create together in JOY! Let us remember who we are and why we are here! And let it begin with the simple and powerful message: WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON….YOU!

I AM writing this afternoon to share MORE of my enthusiasm with you all for my WILDEST DREAM...to have billboards posted on every major highway in our country that say:

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!!

Today, I have been inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr. and a speech he made on April 4, 1967 in NYC. Anything quoted as follows is from that speech...

"A time comes when silence is betrayal." I believe that betrayal is to ourself. That time has come-It has been here-That time is NOW.

The mission to which we are called cannot afford our silence. I cannot be a silent Voice of Peace; hoping and praying that someday we will 'get there'. I have no choice but to speak the Dream of Peace, for I KNOW that it is alive within me, for I KNOW that this dream LIVES within the Heart of ALL. We have simply forgotten. It is time to remember. That time is NOW.

"This is a call for a worldwide fellowship that lifts neighborly concern beyond one tribe, race, class and nation and is in reality a call for an all-embracing and Unconditional Love for all mankind."

"We are now faced with the fact my friends that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of NOW."

Although this speech was made about Vietnam, I see that essentially Martin Luther King, Jr. was prophesizing what would occur in our world if we did not make changes. We are in this same intersection once again and have the ability to encourage different choices for our world, made as a brotherhood of man, a global family.

Oprah, the time is NOW. The Dream of Peace is calling to us. The Dream of Peace is ready to be experienced when we are ready to embrace its reality.

Will you assist me to make this WILD DREAM come true? I AM READY NOW.

Hello everyone! I AM feeling absolutely inspired in this moment!! I have just finished watching the Larry King Live show on CNN with guest Deepak Chopra. He has just come out with a book titled, Peace is the Way. Deepak is one of many people in our world who is out there marketing the concept of Peace.

We see these billboards as another avenue for mass-marketing the concept of Peace...bringing the reality of Peace to a commonplace in our societies, our cultures, our dinner tables, the water coolers and the lines at the grocery stores...

We all need reminders of the choices we have and our ability to make new ones, particularly if the old choices aren't creating the outcomes that we desire. Those new choices begin right here, right now within each of us...

Today a friend mailed me a full-page ad from the NY Times for Deepak Chopra's new book 'Peace is the Way'. In bold letters the ad states: "War Ends Today. It starts with you. Find out how."

This message of Peace is out there in our world right NOW. I agree that many people will buy this book, because they are fans of Deepak, or may happen to catch him on a TV program while he is promoting his book...As well...wouldn't it be great to reach people in our world with self-empowering messages of World Peace who aren't necessarily thinking about Peace right now?
These billboards are the perfect opportunity to join the Family of Humanity together!! We have the ability to augment other Peace Awareness Programs in our world!!

Oprah, I would love to see this simple message, WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!! joined in sync with people like Deepak in our world and others who remember the dreams within their hearts as we empower this strong and simple message as it travels our planet inspiring and stimulating Humanity!

World Peace will NEVER occur with just one person. When we get there, it will be together.
Oprah, let's join together NOW to empower this Ripple of Peace on its journey to touch the Heart of Humanity. We are capable of changing the world we live in. We are even more capable when we do it together.

My whole life I have had a dream of peace and harmony throughout the world; a dream that sees children of all cultures playing together, governments working together for the betterment of all humanity and the creative spirit awakened in ALL!

We are one family, unique and diverse, and joined by our common humanity. I can taste the JOY of being there when you tell the world that you are embracing this dream, this vision.

I am one of the 'friends', a small collective that has been working together to make Kristin's dream a reality. And now there are many across the world who have responded and said...YES! WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY BEGINS WITH ME! LET'S DO THIS!

Hello! Today is a beautiful, sunny day in New Mexico ~ a perfect day for seeing billboards on the highway that say: "WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!" As you are all probably aware by now, this is my WILD Dream that I would LOVE to see come true!
I was just re-reading your guidelines for submission...You asked for 'over the top' dreams, which I believe this is. How much more over the top could you get than sending Ripples of Peace into the world that are stronger than the messages of War, Hatred & Resentment? ~ We see those on the news everyday...It is time to assist Humanity to evolve out of apathy into Self-Responsibility & Self-Empowerment.
Imagine a planet where its Humanity lives as it was intended to ~ in a constant state of Unity, Diversity, Joy & Abundance. We are capable as a Whole Humanity of making this dream a reality. Oprah, these billboards just scratch the surface of our potential to be Voices of Peace...There is so much to be part of beyond these bilboards going up, yet the billboards are also the catalyst.
Imagine corporate America talking at the water cooler about WORLD PEACE and how we can each make a difference! Imagine our education systems initiating discussions about WORLD PEACE and how we can each make a difference! Imagine Humanity letting go of HOW or WHY we 'got here' and allowing our attention to instead be focused on present time and what we can do to co-create graceful change for ALL...
Oprah, you asked for WILD Dreams that you and your staff were willing to search the globe for...Let's Create a WILD Dream that will AFFECT the WHOLE GLOBE!! We ALL want to live in a nurturing environment, for it is through nurturing ourselves that we find our PEACE within...THEN WE SHINE!

I am writing tonight to share by thoughts about World Peace on this eve of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. I have spent some time today reading about yet another brother who once lived in our world and dreamed of Peace too...

Oprah, we are not alone in our dreams. We have never been alone. Our world is in need of the positive stimulation that these billboards will create. It is time to send out a message of Peace that is bigger than the messages of war, separation and judgment. It is time to send out the message that will remind everyone who comes in contact with it, that we each have the power within to change the world, for the better if we so choose...We already know what happens when we choose the other alternative.

Oprah, I am ready to hear the beautiful voice of your heart on the other end of my phone, telling me that you remember this dream too...telling me "Yes! It is time!"

LET’S DO WHAT WE CAME HERE TO DO OPRAH!

My journey continues as I dream my WILD DREAM of having billboards posted on every major highway in our country that say: WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!! I am certain that dreams were meant to be lived!

I have spent a great deal of time recently reflecting on the Tsunami and earthquake in Southeast Asia and how this event has affected ALL of Humanity. I see that this is another intersection for humanity to join together in Strength and Compassion as a Whole Humanity.

After the events of 9/11, we all were part of our global community coming together in unity for a common purpose. Then we became divided, drawn into revenge and retaliation, forgetting the purpose for which we united in the first place...We do NOT have to forget this time how much we can accomplish through our Unity. It is through our Global Unity that we can and will experience World Peace. When we get there, it will be together.

Humanity is once again grieving and in need of nurturing, encouragement and positive direction through this process. We have the ability to provide this encouragement and support in present time. Through harnessing the attention of mass consciousness and capturing their imagination, we can serve highest purpose. During this time of individual and collective reflection, our vision of World Peace and Harmony directly effects every man, woman and child...

There is a collective of friends meditating everyday to energize this dream becoming a reality. We are calling you Oprah to come play and co-create with us! Are you ready to pick up the phone and call us? I look forward to hearing your voice telling me that IT IS TIME!

Hello everyone! The following is an article I wrote for a spiritual newspaper called The Source for their January/February edition. If you have read about our vision and wonder why we are using this particular statement, I believe that this article will assist you to have a clearer picutre... INJOY!

WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!

What does this simple statement really mean? Is it possible that World Peace really does begin with each of us as individuals? Is it really possible that World Peace is not up to our leaders, politicians and those holding the riches of our world? YES! YES! YES!

Within the heart of each of us, lies the dream, the desire to experience Peace, Laughter and Prosperity in our world. Dreams have never been intended to be impossible. Dreams have always been intended to assist us to expand our perception of the possibilities that are all around us…. World Peace is a dream that is alive here and now. World Peace is a dream that is possible here and now. It is up to us as individuals to allow the dream to be expressed, first beginning within our own self.

Peace is not a concept that can be mandated or enforced. Fighting for Peace is self-defeating and is what builds walls between people and nations. To experience Peace is to BE Peace. When we as individuals are expressing Peace within ourselves, there is no desire or need to create conflict in our outer world. The conflicts we experience in our outer world are a mirror of humanity’s collective internal conflict. World Peace cannot be achieved through challenging or finger pointing.

We have the right ~ We have the ability to CHOOSE Peace in every moment! When we choose Peace within our own lives, we become a Ripple of Peace, we become a Voice of Peace, breathing our inspiration into the heart of humanity, gently encouraging reflection and right action.

We ALL want to feel secure. We ALL want to feel accepted. We ALL want to feel loved. No one, nothing can make us feel this way. To feel loved is to love ourselves, unconditionally. To feel accepted is to accept ourselves, unconditionally. To feel secure is to remember who we truly are, to embrace the natural state of our being ~ Unconditional Love, Peace & Harmony…For this is what lives within the hearts of all…

“Then who is to blame for the state of our world?” you may ask yourself. This question leaves the door wide open to judging who or what we feel is at fault for the dysfunctions of our societies. If we are choosing to play this game of blame, we need look no further than the reflection in the mirror. Blame has been proven ineffective time and time again as a means to truly resolve the issues, the conflicts at hand.

God, the Creator or whomever you wish to identify with is not blaming anyone or anything for the ‘state of our world’. Judgment shall leave the door wide open for more of the same…more chaos, more destruction, and more loss of physical life. It is the voice of Mass Consciousness, the collective voice of humanity that continues to choose what and how we will experience our lives, our journey, and our evolution. We are all part of the Voice of Humanity, all part of the Oneness. We are all capable of sending our ripples of peace into the world to effect change, first beginning within ourselves…

Everything is energy. All is either Love or Fear. Love Creates. Fear destroys. It is our choice what we ask our own unlimited energy to express itself as. World Peace will NEVER be achieved by just one person. When we get there it will be together. Where there is fear, there is not love. Where there is love, there is not fear.

It is important that we each take responsibility, using our ability to respond, for our part in the whole of Mass Consciousness. This is how we can effectively assist in the healing of humanity. It is through loving ALL unconditionally, expressing compassion for those struggling in the face if their own fears, and speaking truth from our hearts that our abilities as natural creators flourishes. In present time Humanity is in need of more people to come forward to act and speak of harmonious solutions, to speak of Love, Compassion and Healing. Humanity is in need of many Voices of Peace ~ those speaking of working together, of our equality and the power of our Unity.

And so, it is with Love that I invite you to join me on the journey of expressing and experiencing Peace in our world…I have recently sent a video submission to the Oprah Winfrey Show asking for her assistance to put up billboards on every major highway in our country that say, “WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON…YOU!!” This Ripple of Peace is spreading across our planet as you read this article, and now it is touching you….

Dear Oprah & Team,
Hello!! I am happy to send this update to you all...how my Wildest Dream of posting billboards all across America that say "WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!" continues to unfold...

As I have acknowledged in previous submissions, we have created a web page on our site (universalvoices.org/DreamsCanBecomeReality.html) with a guestbook and have sent the ripple out, asking for people to show their support of this dream becoming a reality ~ asking for people to show Oprah that this is a real vehicle for graceful change in our world...We have had over 300 people show their support!

Today, another wonderful event has unfolded! A press release was sent out through PR Web which focuses on World Peace and how we REALLY get there, as well as shares our dream with Oprah...Almost 40,000 people have read this release so far today!!!!

My enthusiasm grows each day thinking about the potential of this message going out into the world in a very tangible way...Certainly in present time, our world is so much in need of positive reminders as we ALL embrace the reality of the earthquake/tsunami's in Indonesia and beyond.
I AM seeing that the message itself is already working...stimulating personal reflection as to what this simple statement really means to each as an individual...and how we each have to ability to make positive changes in our world.

In talking with friends, we wondered...If Oprah chooses to support these billboards becoming a reality ~ Wouldn't it be a great idea to have a contest, asking people to submit their ideas for the artwork, so that no two billboards need look the same, even though the message is consistent?
And so, it is with JOY that I express my gratitude to you all at Harpo Productions, and to Oprah herself for even running this series of shows...I have grown and learned so much as a person from my experiences in just the last few weeks...

OPRAH ~ I WOULD LOVE TO CO-CREATE THIS WILDEST DERAM WITH YOU!!!!

Hello!! So, today is December 19...my personal enthusiasm for co-creating billboards that say "WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!" with Oprah continues to grow and expand!

Although I have sent a video submission to Harpo Productions, I am thrilled to express the journey with you all as it continues to unfold...Friends and Family are continuing to energize this journey becoming a reality with their positive thoughts, feelings and prayers...

Many of these people (myself and husband included) have sent out hundreds of e-mails in the last 2 weeks, asking people to join us on the journey. Letters have gone out to Jimmy Carter, Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton & AL Gore, just to name a few, asking for their support in making this dream a reality...The web page that was created through our web site (http://www.universalvoices.org/DreamsCanBecomeReality.html) is continuing to draw a wonderful response from people all over the world that are also energizing these billboards becoming a reality. In just 2 weeks, we have had over 200 signatures in our guestbook.

You see, I submitted a very personal dream for the Wildest Dreams Series, yet it is a daily affirmation to me that MANY hold this dream in their hearts...I continue to be optimistic of what tomorrow will bring...I continue to smile each morning with joy in my heart as I read the guestbook signings from the previous night and learn of more people in the world dreaming of Peace too...

Dear Oprah,
My name is Kristin and my dream is a BIG one that I KNOW that it is possible. I dream everyday of how we can ALL live in peace on this planet together. My dream (one of many) is to post billboards on every major highway in the US that say

"WORLD PEACE & HARMONY BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON...YOU!!!"

We each have the ability (and do so) to send out ripples into the world. It is up to us whether those ripples are loving or not. This is one of my ripples that I desire to send out into the world in a BIG way. The message is strong yet is intended to gently encourage everyone who reads it to reflect on the choices they make in their own lives....World Peace will NEVER be achieved by just one person, politician or not ~ when we get there, it will be together.

So you see Oprah, my wildest dream is not just for me, it is also a dream for humanity. This message is my way of encouraging each to go within their own hearts and to find that peace within. When we each find that peace within....WE SHINE...and I KNOW WE CAN!! I would LOVE to experience co-creating this dream with you Oprah!! BE IN JOY!!!
